The valley of Sappada is located in the Veneto Region, near the border with Austria. You can reach us in many ways:
By Car
From Veneto take the motorway A27 Mestre-Belluno to the last exit
of Longarone (Pian di Vedoia); continue on this road to Pieve di
Cadore. Near Auronzo di Cadore turn off the road and head for S.Stefano
di Cadore, which leads on to Sappada.
If you are travelling from Friuli take the A27 Palmanova-Tarvisio and
exit at the toll in Tolmezzo. From here continue on the state road No
52 which passes through Ovaro and Rigolato all the way to Sappada.
By Train
The nearest station to Sappada is Calalzo di Cadore. From here you can
catch a bus directly to Sappada, which takes less than an hour.
If you are arriving from the Friuli side of the valley the nearest
station is Carnia, where there are also buses directly to Sappada.
